Guitar Mij
5 String Bass Tuning question.?
I play a lot of Kyuss now that has fallen into C adjustment. (All Channels) rather than fall my main bass, I have a MIJ Fender 5 string just want to develop a tone (ie low B to C, Low-E to F etc …) this goes to my neck at all? I 'm a guitarist and not worry about this here, but I'm not familiar with how much tension there is a Bass neck. Thanks
Well, you can do. I did. Make your strings a little higher, actually, but yes: put a little tension in the neck. On the other hand, if you play 34 "five-string – I presume the Fender – Tuning then takes care of Floppy-B-string-syndrome … depending on the size of the strings. Logically: = less strict unit.
