Does anyone know the best way to travel between countries with a cat?
I will conduct the State of Georgia Washington with my cat and dog. I'm not concerned about this dog, but I wonder if I have to have a litter of fortune in my car for my kitten (she is 10 months) or simply a set each night in the hotels? I can not imagine anything eatting in the car (although I'm having food and water available), so I'm not really sure what to do. Some tips this issue or simply driving background Ski animals in general are welcome. Thank you!
Well .. I drove halfway across the country with my three cats. It was not easy, but you can do. Simply take the initiative for the night Hotels in PET. Make sure you go where you want to be in 8 to 21 hours each night. This is what I did …. I have used to spend some time in his cage. I had a large ferret cage that put me all in. The day before our departure, I took her food and water for about 11 or midnight. Then I boxed in the morning and put them in the back seat. She had a litter box in a plastic garbage bag black prepared in the trunk. I covered the cage with a blanket to keep it dark and started driving. Make sure that you can not see the outside is really important. They cried until By noon of that day. Around 11 or if my cat has just begun nuts. I had to use the bathroom, so I pulled the bag and got a litter box in the trunk and put it in the car. (Keep car doors closed), I pulled out of the cage and tried to put it in the bag. Panicked! again in the cage and kept driving. She cried for an hour and twelve, at last, everyone went to sleep. We reached the hotel around 8 or more. I had everything I had in my room and closed the door and make sure there's nowhere to escape. I put food and water and garbage in the bathroom and let him eat them and drink all they wanted, until midnight and carried. They were a little wild in the new place. I had to hang on the bathroom that night so I could rest, because I was a little crazy. Next day I went all day and never said a single glance. We have 21 hours of the night. When we arrived, I realized that the cash smelled of pee … if someone has peed, but I know it is not Who, or what day. Anyway, besides that everything went well. Each cat is different, if your cats are really cool might not even be very nervous. My best advice is to keep them in their boxes, when the door of a hotel or car door is open. Otherwise, you can never see your cat again. It would be really bad.
