The purchase of a new body for my guitar?
I have an Epiphone Les Paul Special II Electric Guitar, details below basswood body Bolt-in neck Mahogany neck 22 frets rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays 700T/650R open coil humbuckers scale "24-3/4 1-5/8" wide nut Tune-o-matic bridge / Tailpiece Stopbar tone, volume, and 3-way pickup switch Hardware: chrome (black on wine red finish) and I wondered if I could take the neck and pick-up put in another body, the body is a custom LP body, the body is mahogany with a maple veneer Neck Joint Top curve Pocket Dimensions: 75mm long x 57mm wide x 18mm deep.
Do not have a custom neck of all? I do not see the point anyway … I heard that the weaknesses are special in the neck, tuners, pickups and electronics. If something … I first start the upgrade instead of move together to a different agency. Maybe I should start by putting in a pick-up brand and tuners … then upgrade over time a copy of Les Paul that is mahogany with a set neck and put my pills and the tuners that good. Then you will have a very sweet guitar. Put remaining material on the copy of Les Paul special and better will be further enhanced on the action too.
